BlackHole.org pages can change as explanations improve and errors are fixed. This page brings together archived editions and material corrections.
Editions
Section titled “Editions”An immutable edition identifies an exact set of pages and supporting files, with a date, checksums, and a recoverable archive. Its files remain unchanged; later corrections are recorded separately.
For a living page, cite its title, BlackHole.org, its URL, and the date accessed. When using an archived edition, include its edition identifier and archive link. A page date or local download alone does not identify an immutable edition.
Corrections
Section titled “Corrections”Report errors to renphysics@blackhole.org, including the page URL, the affected statement, and supporting reasoning or sources.
Material corrections identify the error, its consequences, and the affected pages or editions. Related calculations and figures are checked as needed. Warnings or withdrawals explain limitations that a reader must know; archived editions are not silently rewritten.
